Coach shari robinson
Head Coach
Shari grew up with a passion for dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. She cheered throughout junior high and high school while also competing in gymnastics. With over 30 years of coaching experience, including owning Rocky Mountain Cheer and Dance, Shari brings extensive knowledge, dedication, and a strong competitive spirit to Thompson Valley Cheer. Coaching 1992: TVHS JV Cheer Coach 1993–1995: Gymnastics Coach | Lincoln, Nebraska 1995–2001: TVHS Head Varsity Cheer Coach 2001–2003: Extreme All Star Coach 2004–2017: Owner, Rocky Mountain Cheer and Dance 2014–Present: TVHS Head Varsity Cheer Coach Under Shari's leadership, Thompson Valley Cheer has built an impressive legacy of competitive success. NCA National Champion 2026 UCA Division Winners 2019 Colorado State Champions 1998, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Colorado State Runners-Up 2015, 2016, 2017, 2023, 2024 League Champions 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 League Runners-Up 2015, 2025 Shari's dedication goes far beyond championships. Her passion for the sport, commitment to excellence, and drive to help athletes reach their full potential continue to shape the proud tradition of Thompson Valley Cheer.
Coach Kennedy Robinson
Assistant Coach / varsity
Kennedy has 19 years of cheer experience. 2 time UCA College National Champion with Navarro Cheer Grand Champion-UCA College National Championship (highest score across all divisions). College All American Navarro and Texas Tech both co-ed and all girl. Her all star career includes prestigious worlds teams: Cheer Central Suns Lady Suns, Midnight, and Revolution, Cheer Athletics Swoosh Cats, and Empire Revolt. She is a complete athlete having stunted as a base and flyer, and she tumbles at the highest level. She has prior camp instructor experience with Cheer Source and Cheer Coach Academy. You can catch her on the Cheer Coach Academy videos, Season 1 and 2 as a flyer. This is her second year coaching TVHS, with a third place finish at State in 2026 out of 33 teams, and a NCA National Championship. She has a special place in her heart for Thompson Valley Cheer as she has grown up around the team and was a 4 year Varsity athlete, 2 time state champion, 2 time state runner up, 3 time Conference Athlete of the Year, All State Athlete, All Elite Team.
Coach maddy heitzman
Coach Jr. Varsity
Maddy's love for cheerleading began at just 8 years old when she entered the world of competitive All Star cheer as a side base. She continued competing throughout her childhood before joining the Thompson Valley High School Varsity Cheer Team her senior year, where she helped bring home the 2019 Colorado State Championship! Following high school, Maddy was recruited to Dodge City Community College, where she continued her cheer career and earned a National Championship title in 2021. She later returned to competitive All Star cheer, competing on Level 6 and Level 7 tumbling and non-tumbling Worlds teams, while also gaining experience as a backspot on a Level 2 team. With years of competitive experience and a strong dedication to the sport, Maddy brings energy, skill, and enthusiasm to Thompson Valley Cheer. Her commitment to helping athletes grow, build confidence, and reach their full potential makes her a valuable part of the coaching team!

President
The President oversees the overall operations and direction of the TVHS Cheer Boosters, working closely with the Executive Board to support the organization’s goals. Responsibilities include coordinating and leading meetings, managing communications through SportsYou and serving as the primary point of contact between the Booster Club and coaching staff.
Ariel Koontz
Vice Presdent
The Vice President works closely with the President and Executive Board to support the goals and activities of the TVHS Cheer Boosters. Responsibilities include assisting with fundraising efforts, coordinating club activities, supporting meetings, and stepping in to fulfill the President’s duties when needed.
Michelle Wing
Treasurer
The Treasurer oversees the financial records and accounts of the TVHS Cheer Boosters, ensuring accurate tracking of all income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. Responsibilities include managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports for each Booster meeting, and maintaining financial records on the Shared Drive and SportsYou.
Mike Johnston
Secretary
The Secretary oversees the records and correspondence of the TVHS Cheer Boosters, ensuring important information is organized and accessible. Responsibilities include, recording and presenting meeting minutes, maintaining membership rosters, and keeping club records updated on the Shared Drive and SportsYou.
